NYC sues ride hailing app Empower for operating without licenses, ‘putting public at risk’
New York City is suing Empower, a ride hailing service that markets itself as a cheaper alternative to Uber and Lyft, for operating illegally without proper licenses, according to a lawsuit filed Friday in state court.
