Dow soars 1,000 points, S&P 500 hits record as Bessent signals Iran deal is close — and Palantir rallies 29%
The Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 1,041 points, or 2%, by approximately 1:20 p.m. ET while the Nasdaq jumped 2.4%. The S&P 500 rose 1.8% to 7,736.85, a new record.
